Connections is what's so important

11 June 2020

We spoke to Jemma Peers, Client & Commercial Director at Top Banana about her passion for bringing events to life, the need for human interaction and how we should adapt event environments moving forward.

Jemma leads the strategy of all things Sales and Marketing at Top B, along with a client portfolio of campaigns and events. With 19 years’ experience Jemma can take an objective or a challenging situation and create the perfect solution. Evoking emotions and embracing all things new and creative is where her skills come to fruition. Jemma’s unfaltering passion comes from a love of talking, performing arts and creating incredible experiences linked to strong messages.

Jemma has been very fortunate to provide innovative campaigns and live experiences for some fantastic brands. Known for taking a huge pride in what she can do for brands and that’s why Jemma dares to believe she can create the perfect solution.

And when Jemma isn’t in her happy place of backstage at a huge event, she can be found in a field, come rain or shine, with her family and friends enjoying festivals and concerts!

Jemma tells us what she loves most about live events “I love seeing my ideas, my passion, my vision come to life and making a memory that people are creating at that moment.”

“…that being able to touch them naturally and organically and have connections is what's so important.”

And shares some words of wisdom “Experiment. Be confident, be willing to try something new….I think it gives us a real opportunity to try something new.”

She suggests “We need to look at how we create more inviting environments that people feel safe in, but also feel that they're able to network, spend time with people and actually really gain something.”
