In early 2025, BYD UK partnered with automotive marketing agency We Are Nameless to unveil its first UK hybrid, the SEAL U DM-i, with a high-impact launch event at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre. With under four weeks to deliver, the team transformed the venue’s blank canvas into a fully immersive brand experience inspired by BYD’s Ocean Series design.

The event featured a dramatic illuminated entrance, a 25-metre-wide LED screen for cinematic storytelling, and a showcase of the SEAL U DM-i’s cutting-edge Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology. The car itself powered interactive elements including a cinema setup, selfie booths, and popcorn machines—turning innovation into a tangible experience for attendees.

Over 45 SEAL U DM-i models were available for live test drives, allowing press, dealers, and influencers to experience the vehicle firsthand. More than 35 content creators, including Yiannimize, Supercars of London, and Formula E’s Nicki Shields, amplified the event online, generating millions of impressions and real-time content from within the venue.

 As day turned to night, the space transitioned into an evening celebration hosted by presenter Danni Menzies, with live performances and a DJ set that kept the energy high and guests engaged. Every element, from staging to entertainment, was designed to reflect BYD’s forward-thinking brand.

The versatile, large-scale infrastructure enabled We Are Nameless to push creative and technical boundaries—delivering a premium, immersive automotive launch that was both memorable and technically innovative.
