Safety and first aid information for visitors
Ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience at Farnborough International
Farnborough International is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all visitors. We are continually reviewing and improving our health and safety measures to provide a secure environment for everyone. We are a fully equipped venue with trained first aid staff and the necessary facilities to respond to medical emergencies. We provide clear safety guidance to organisers and support them in meeting all required safety standards wherever possible.
First aid
We always have trained first aid staff available in the event of an accident or incident. Just ask the nearest member of FIL staff or a member of Security’ for immediate assistance
Fire safety
In the event of a fire emergency a siren alarm will sound and will be accompanied by a loud speaker announcement stating that fire evacuation is in process and everyone must leave the building. Fire exits are clearly marked and there are adequate fire marshals on site to ensure everyone leaves the building safely and indicates the location of the fire assembly points. Please do not attempt to leave site during an emergency evacuation as this may hinder emergency services gaining access to site. We have 5 refuge points on the first floor equipped with evacuation chairs. There are trained staff to assist those with impaired mobility and ensure they leave the building safely. Never attempt to re-enter the building until the ‘All Clear’ has been given.
