Farnborough International Ltd has appointed GES as official delivery partner for the new Hall 1 at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.

The new venue, which opens in spring 2018, is set to become one of the UK’s foremost meeting and exhibition destinations. The purpose-built structure boasts more than 20,000sqm of flexible event space, including 12,500sqm of exhibition space and can host up to 2,500 conference delegates theatre style. It has onsite parking for 3,500 cars.

Alongside the delivery of all core services, GES will be the venue’s partner for custom stand design and build, bespoke feature areas, 2D and 3D graphics and full AV and digital event production services. The contract extends an already strong working relationship between both companies. GES has enjoyed a 20 year long relationship as official supplier to the Farnborough Airshow and recently announced the renewal of its contract with the event until 2028.
