Carlo Zoccali, Account Director at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre and Vice President of Marketing for the International Live Events Association UK Chapter (ILEA), will take on the Presidency of ILEA this summer.

Carlo will succeed existing President Alistair Turner, with the remit to continue the chapter’s three-year strategy put in place by Kevin Jackson in the 15/16 term.  

Current President, Alistair Turner commented, “There are few people who understand the dynamics of the events community and the business and brand community as Carlo. The Board is excited that he will be taking on the role and drive ILEA’s mission to grow the footprint of the association and lead the industry’s relationships with business and brands.”

Before joining Farnborough International, Carlo was a mainstay of the events and hospitality business at Arsenal Football Club. He has been a major part of ILEA for the last few years and thought leader in the events and experiential industry.  He joined Farnborough International in early 2017 to drive sales for the new Hall 1 exhibition and conference centre which is currently under construction.  When complete it will make the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre the third largest venue in the South East. Commonly known as the home of the Farnborough Airshow, the new Hall 1 facility will see even more events taking place at the venue.
