24 October 2022

Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre took home the award for ‘Best Supporting Venue’ at event industry trade magazine Exhibition News’ EN Indy Awards.

In a celebratory ceremony at Honourable Artillery Company in London on Friday 21 October, The EN Indy awards recognised the achievements of independent organiser shows, teams and individuals, with nominations received across Europe. Farnborough International took the top spot against other established venues, including P&J Live, Scottish Event Campus and Knebworth House.

Home to more than 20 independent trade shows & exhibitions, which sees more than 136,183 visitors through the venue’s doors annually, Farnborough International is proud to continue to champion independent event organisers and invests a substantial time in supporting brands in bringing their event to fruition and growing for future years, including Fully Charged Live, Kidz to Adultz South, ITT Hub and British Motor Show.

Discussing the win, Gareth Rogers, CEO of Farnborough International, said: “Since our opening in March 2018, we have worked tirelessly to be a pioneering venue within the industry and providing a first-class customer experience to everyone that walks through our doors. To get this recognition is an incredible achievement and is testament to the dedication of our team at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.”

Carlo Zoccali, Venue Director at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, added: “We are over the moon with our ‘Best Supporting Venue’ accolade at the EN Indys, highlighting our strive to support independent organisers. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do here at Farnborough, and we take great pride in working in partnership with our clients to deliver their vision at the highest standard to create world-class events. I look forward to celebrating with our team, partners and clients.”

Attracting a growing portfolio national and international B2C and B2B events, the venue offers more than 10 indoor spaces across 20,000sqm, with a capacity of over 10,000 people, and over 100,000sqm of outside space to utilise. Located in Hampshire, the purpose-built venue has strong transport links and is in easy reach of by train, just 35 minutes direct from London Waterloo, or by car from the M3.
