Committed to inclusive events

Farnborough International aims to provide an inclusive venue, accessible for all.

We are an e-guide venue and are committed to meeting its accessibility standards. If you would like to tell us more about your accessibility needs, or you have questions about how we can support you during your visit please let us know.

ACCESS

If you are arriving by car, Blue Badge parking is available on site for all our events.

Please ensure you display your Blue Badge in your car, and the traffic marshals will direct you to dedicated Blue Badge parking.

If you require accessible parking but do not have a Blue Badge, please tell us about your accessibility needs via the link below.

If you are arriving by taxi and have your Blue Badge with you, you can be dropped off at the main entrance for that event. If you require collection the taxi will be permitted to pick you up from the main entrance to that event.

Access into the Halls

Hall 1: There is ramped access at both the East and West Foyer entrance and exit. The corridor areas have high contrast between floor, walls, and doors. The exhibition halls are step free.

Hall 5: This is a step free venue and fully accessible. The foyer areas have high contrast between floor and walls.

External areas

Please be aware that many of our outside event spaces are grass and are uneven underfoot. Non stepped access is available to all areas of the site although the route may be longer.

ACCESSIBLE TOILET

There are accessible toilets at all toilet facilities throughout the venue.

Lift Access

There are lifts in both the East and West foyers of Hall 1 to take those that require, to the first floor and flight deck. Hall 5 has lift access to the mezzanine area.

Digital Wayfinding

We provide some digital wayfinding in the conference area of Hall 1.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome to the venue. Assistance dog owners will be requested to show their documentation on arrival. Emotional support animals may be permitted if relevant documentation can be provided and the event is an appropriate environment for them but this will be on a case-by-case basis and will require proper risk assessment.

FEEDBACK

All feedback provided through the detailed channels by any persons shall be acknowledged within 48 hours and where appropriate a call to action shall be shared with said person within 5 working days. We will provide a timescale for completion of the call to action and will, where appropriate communicate the improvements made once they have been completed.
