About Civil Aviation

Orders and commitments for the civil aircraft at FIA14 stood at 1120 aircraft with the Airbus A320neo topping the list in orders.  With continuing demand from emerging markets and the Middle East, demand continues to be strong. 

About Business Aviation

Honeywell Aerospace, in its 23rd annual Business Aviation Outlook, has forecast 9,450 new business jet deliveries globally, worth $280 billion from now until 2024, an 8 per cent increase in projected sales value compared to 2013. FIA provides business aircraft manufacturers the opportunity to shine amongst its larger counterparts. Textron, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embrear, Eclipse and Gulfstream exhibited a total 16 business aircraft at FIA in 2014 with Piaggio announcing a 50 aircraft order for its Avianti twin-engined turboprop at the show. About Defence

FIA continues to be a platform for manufacturers to showcase their military aircraft including the Airbus A400M, Boeing’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, TAI’s ATAK T129 Combat Helicopter and BAE System’s Typhoon. A total of 29 military aircraft were displayed at FIA14, supported by an extensive military delegations programme featuring 81 senior military personnel from 50 countries. Read more...
