The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) team is attending the Dubai Airshow this week to promote their forthcoming event which will take place 9-15 July 2012. Organisers, Farnborough International Ltd (FIL), say that there are even more reasons to exhibit at FIA next year and are urging companies not to miss out by booking their space before the official allocations are released in the New Year.
Hall exhibition space and outdoor exhibit area sales for FIA 2012 are extremely favourable whilst chalet sales are excelling. A number of exhibitors have elected to enhance their presence by upgrading to larger stands or chalets and FIL has been delighted by the response to their newly introduced ‘early booking’ scheme. More than 60 exhibitors have increased the size of their presence and 38% of applications to date are from new companies taking part in their first FIA. Additionally, the Space Zone is 90% sold out and has doubled in size from 2010.
FIA, as the world’s leading aerospace event, is proud to be able to boast true international status with over 40 countries represented show-on-show in the form of exhibitors, visitors and delegations. At FIA 2010 US$47bn in orders were announced among the 1455 exhibitors and more than 250,000 visitors attended over the seven-day show.FIL Exhibitions & Events Director, Amanda Stainer, said: “Given the current challenges of the global economic climate, FIL has been working hard since the conclusion of its 2010 show to come up with even more ways to give more companies more reasons to participate in FIA. The flexibility of our exhibiting packages for chalets and stands ensures maximum return on investment of time, money and resource for businesses, offering a solution to suit all requirements and budgets. Additional show features, such as the civil and military delegations programmes, specialist sector areas like the Space Zone and the A|D|S themed conference programme brings in high-level industry personnel and offers value added targeted networking opportunities.”
Ends – 14.11.2011
