FIA 2010 Breitling watch prize draw winners announced by SSAFA Forces Help
SSAFA Forces Help teamed up with watch manufacturer Breitling for this year’s Farnborough International Airshow, 19-25 July 2010, to provide one of their legendary aerospace watches to a luck winner each day. Prize draw tickets were sold by official SSAFA Forces Help representatives around the site with all proceeds going towards the charity’s vital work in supporting the military community.

Vulcan will not fly on Sunday 25 July 2010
Due to a faulty brake unit, Avro Vulcan XH558 will be unable to take part in the flying programme this Sunday at the Farnborough International Airshow. The aircraft will however be parked on static display and available for "under wing" guided tours, until such time as it is able to be towed onto the Eastern side of the airfield for maintenance. This is the first technical issue encountered preventing flight in 2010, and Vulcan To The Sky Trust are working to facilitate the quickest possible repair. FRIDAY BECAME FUTURES DAY AT FARNBOROUGH
With the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) opening to the general public this weekend and 160,000 people expected to attend, organisers Farnborough International Limited (FIL) invited 3,000 young people this Friday 23 July to the company’s Futures Day - an initiative designed to encourage young people to consider careers within the aerospace, defence and security industries.
