Media Facilities
Farnborough International 2006 saw the introduction of new media facilities for our accredited media visitors and exhibitors. Through consultation with the main facility users we have been able to completely revise and develop the way in which we host our valuable media personnel. We have redesigned the venue, and placed it in a central location in Hall 1A in the exhibition complex. A more informal meeting/bar area has been introduced and all conference facilities are now located in one place.
The various facilities will include complementary outgoing telephone and fax lines, interview and photographic opportunities and access to daily media conferences. The latest show information will be posted in the Media Centre and literature racks will also be available to rental for the duration of the show.

Media Centre
The Media Centre will manage all aspects of media accreditation and comprises a large work room, interview area, lounge and viewing platform. This facility will be fully staffed and operational from Monday 7 July, one week prior to the opening of the show, through to the close on Sunday 20 July 2008. The Media Centre will become the main focal point for all media relations, ensuring the dissemination of information to international media, exhibitors and interested visitors.
Conference Rooms
All conference facilities will now be grouped in one location, central to show activity. The conference suite will also house a media work room.
Media Lounge
The Media Lounge is an exclusive bar and lounge where we offer an informal facility in which to meet, mingle or simply relax. Staff will be on hand to ensure you have all the information you require.
All Farnborough Airshow Media facilities are accessible to accredited media personnel and exhibiting company representatives, in possession of a media access pass.
